My Story
My whole life I have known that I want to serve people and make them happy, and an amazing way God has granted me to do this is through my culinary skills.
So much can be said through a specialty sweet, and I am so excited to create sweets and treats that everyone can enjoy.

In the Beginning...
There once was a culinary graduate named Heather who loved to make beautiful desserts.
Every day she would make food and desserts that made people happy and expanded their palates.
One day, some friends came to her asking her to make some vegan products and she took the challenge and ran with it.

Because of that she developed specialty cookies, bon bons, caramel apples, and vegan macarons, and realized how much she enjoyed product development.
Because of that she returned to school for food science, kept experimenting, and longed to be back in the kitchen.

Until finally she brought it all together in one place, Pastries by Heather, and found a way to connect with people on a whole new level, creating tasty treats and specialty sweets.
Looking to the Future...
Thank you to those who have helped me on my journey. As for the future of Pastries by Heather, I am excited to see what God has planned.

I am about to finish up my bachelor's degree at MSU for food science with a minor in Entrepreneurial studies, I would love to do some traveling, and I am always in the kitchen experimenting and making more specialty sweets and treats.
My dream for Pastries by Heather is to be able to provide tasty treats and specialty sweets while continuing to expand my knowledge on Product Development and keep learning how to make the best gluten free, vegan, and other specialty sweets.
